3 Es Program: Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship
CAAPSS provides support to Abyei youth and adults immigrants resident of Edmonton, Alberta to help them improve their living conditions through education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
Education
CAAPSS agrees with Nelson Mandela, Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. CAAPSS thrive to helping youth access a decent education by
- Spreading the awareness about the importance of education to Abyei immigrant youth resident of Edmonton, Alberta
- spreads awareness across different stakeholders to advocate for them and seek financial and in-kind support to help low-income youth access education
- providing school supplies, school fees, and other school aide such as after school and homework support, computers and laptops, advice on school programs, etc.
- providing ESL programs and access to Internet to Abyei immigrant youth and adults resident of Edmonton who have language barriers and are less skilled in computer knowledge
- referral: CAAPSS refer its beneficiaries to other organizations for services and programs that we don’t provide
Employment Support Program – ESP
CAAPSS provide support to Abyei youth and adult immigrant resident of Edmonton regarding job search techniques & skills training, resume writing, job interview preparation, and placement assistance whenever possible.
We partner with like-mined organizations to provide a customized-service to our beneficiaries either by helping them directly ourselves or by referring them to our trusted partners.

Entrepreneurship Program (YAEP)
CAAPSS provide business advisory and training to immigrants of Abyei resident of Edmonton, Alberta who are interested in starting and/or growing a business.
CAAPSS relies on professionals, entrepreneurs, and organizations from our trusted network of community members of Abyei, and South Sudan and beyond. We also seek support from organizations and government and non-governmental agencies who have expertise and capacity we don’t have to ensure that our beneficiaries receive trusted business advice and training on various topics such as starting a business, business planning, financial literacy, financing for small business, marketing effectively, etc.

Education Sponsorship Program
CAAPSS support education of less privileged children and youth of Abyei, South Sudan to help them access a decent education.
We provide school supplies, uniforms, tuition fees, toiletries and other education aid such teaching materials based on the needs and our capacity

Employment Support Program – ESP
Unemployment issues are a major concern for many Abyei and the rest of South Sudan. This situation has negative effects on the welfare of young and adult people and also adversely affects economic performance and social stability of Abyei and South Sudan.
CAAPSS aims to give its modest contribution by providing support to unemployed youth and adults of Abyei, South Sudan with:
- Resume writing services
- search techniques & skills training,
- job interview preparation, and
- Access to computer connected to Internet to browse on Internet for job search purpose
- placement assistance whenever possible.

Entrepreneurship Program (YAEP)
CAAPSS believes that combining business training and financial support is the best way to help youth and adults interested in starting and growing a business succeed in Abyei, South Sudan.
CAAPSS’ goal is to provide
- business advisory
- business training on various business topics such as starting a small business, simple accounting, financial literacy, market research, marketing, financing, etc.
- help eligible youth and adults’ access to finance by funding them directly ourselves whenever possible or referring them to other micro-finance and lending institutions, and
- networking services

Agriculture & Rural Development Centre
In the long-term, CAAPSS aims to build a Centre of Research for Rural Development to help
low-income families of Abyei improve farm household livelihoods and escape from poverty.
The centre will serve as incubator and research centre on modern and adapted seeds and agricultural techniques with the end goal to
- distribute modern seeds to rural farmers
- intensification of existing production patterns;
- diversification of agricultural activities;
- increase off-farm income, both agricultural and non-agricultural.
